Manual clip editing

How to Create a Manual Clip Range from a CS2 Demo

Suggestions save time, but they cannot know every personal moment worth keeping. A simple start and end adjustment lets you keep a known play or fix the timing without learning a full video editor.

Updated

Start from round context

  1. 01Choose the player and round that contains the moment.
  2. 02Inspect kills and other event markers on the timeline.
  3. 03Place the start before the setup and the end after the payoff.
  4. 04Check the selected range and create the video.

Keep the editor intentionally small

  • One start position and one end position.
  • Event alignment for faster placement.
  • Minimum and maximum duration validation.
  • No multitrack timeline, transitions, or arbitrary clip package.

Changes apply to the next video

Once a video is being created, later timing changes do not alter it. Adjust the clip and create another version when you want a different result.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine several unrelated manual ranges?

No. One selected moment creates one video, keeping the result easy to revisit and share.

Will editing a range change an existing task?

No. Adjust the clip and create another version if you want different timing.
